Storytellers Cafe Grand California Hotel.

Each Disney Hotel has there own restaurants and cafes,
We enjoyed character dinning at The Grand Californian at Storytellers Cafe.

This Hotel and Restaurant is very classic with Arts and Craft period architecture,
Featuring rich exposed timbers, natural stonework and ornamental detailing.
The breakfast food served here is very classic continental breakfast food.

If your animal lover like me, this is a wonderful place to meet some of Disney's classic
animal characters, Kenai from Brother Bear, Terk the ape and Meeko from Pocahontas.

This restaurant/cafe we enjoyed but it was a little to calm and classic for our taste,
but meeting the Disney animal characters was a wonderful experience.

So if calm and classic is more your style this is the place for you.

DisneyLand is always Magical but at Christmas time there is not anything
in the world like it, it's the most magical place on earth.

One of the most spectacular events at Disney in the christmas holiday season is
"Believe in Holiday Magic", a spectacular firework show that turns
Sleeping Beauty's Palace into sparkly magical fairy light christmas castle.

The fireworks is nothing but Amazing, ending with snow falling all the way from
Main Street to the Castle xx

We are so fortunate and grateful that this trip we are staying in the
Disneyland Hotel it's amazing!!

I'm totally in love with it for many reasons, I love that it was the first Hotel.
Walt Disney was here and made it all happen.
All the towers are named after sections in the park and we are staying in Frontier Tower.

The Hotel is so special to me because there is so much history here and so much of
Walt Disney's spirit xx

this is the park for you......

Pizza PJ Party!!

We had a Pizza PJ Party in our room tonight and watched
one of the best Christmas movies of all time Home Alone!!
We even had some of the best Disney treats from Marcelines!!
So Yum!!

Guess who's 30?

Can you guess who's thirty?
It's our favorite out of this world Extra Terrestrial,
E.T. 30th Birthday.
I can't believe E.T. is thirty years old.
If you were a child of the 1980s like me then there is a good chance that
E.T. was a huge part of your childhood.
We grew up with him, it doesn't matter how many times I see this film,
It's just as beautiful and as heartfelt as it was when I was 5 years old,
and yes I still cry every time.
It was the first film I saw in a cinema my mum and nan took me,
and I got this amazing E.T. doll that I took everywhere hehe.
A big thank you to the multi talented Steven Spielberg for bringing
this magical alien into all our lives.

friend he had as a kid.
E.T. became a major blockbuster beating Star wars from the top of
the highest grossing film of all time.
E.T. held the record for 10 years.

Harrison Ford had a cameo as Elliot's school principal but it was cut as they thought
his appearance would be to distracting, Harrison Fords wife at the time
Melissa Mathison's cameo was also cut and she actually wrote the screenplay
for the film.

E.T is a beautiful story of family, love and friendship.
