Halloween Tees DIY

Cute Halloween Tshirt's DIY Project.
These are super cute for Halloween.
So you need just a plain orange Tshirt you can pick these up really cheap
in the men's section of Kmart for like five dollars.
Orange Tshirt, screen print screen, tape, paper, stencil, black fabric paint,
spatula, cutting board and cutting blades.

Next you need to cut out your pumpkin stencil using your
cutting board and blade.

Tape your stencil to your screen using masking tape,
and using a spatula evenly spread your black fabric paint along top of your stencil.
Place your Tshirt under the screen and remember to place cardboard inside the shirt to
prevent the fabric paint from going through to the back of the Tshirt.
( your pumpkin should look like it has one big monobrow hehe )

Evenly squeegee your paint over you stencil,
make sure you cover the whole area.
When it's all covered lift your screen and remove your shirt.
Tadaa!! Your new Tshirt is revealed.
Hang to dry.

Once your Tshirt is dry,
Style, enjoy and rock it!!

Remember these DIY tshirt's can be done also for pets!!
You just need plain cotton pet tees,
Repeat all the above steps and Wow!!
Instant pet costume's or Halloween tee's
for your little monsters ;)

Han Solo rocking her Halloween ghost tee!!

Flower Tiaras Style in full bloom xx

Flower head pieces and tiaras have been around forever.
Made famous by Frida Carlo,Rapunzel to Woodstock.
The flower trend has never faded,it may have changed over the years
but it just keeps on reinventing itself, it's a trend that doesn't die and
lucky most of these pieces are made from fake flowers.
I've never seen tacky fake flowers look so stylish.
I remember in the early 1990s I would go to the $2 stores and buy bunches of fake flowers
I'd stick them in my hair, on clips and headbands.
It's been a while since I've worn flowers in my hair, but my Japanese fashion magazines
have inspired me to bring back the floral and now having more time at home,
I've been able to craft and create again yay!! xx
P.S Check out the easy DIY below.....
All you need is a headband, fake flowers, glue gun, glue sticks
A smile and creativity!!

BITS AND BOBS.......

I've been living in Berry for the last three years.
When I first moved here I cried for about a year.I missed the city, family, friends and Bondi.
It's amazing the adventures and wonderful people
I have met along this journey.
Recently I met Vicki we found each other by chance.
Shes a wonderful art and craft teacher and she has been all over Australia
teaching art and craft to the elderly, unemployed and the disabled.
She has also been overseas and taught art to deaf children in the Philippines.
Vicki has been working with me to make my new doggie toy crochet range,
PUPCAKE TACOS.
She is amazing at crochet and she is teaching me.
Wednesday nights I go with my beautiful neighbour Robin (pic above)
to Vicki's art class its a mix range of ages and we all go for two hours
chat and get creative.
Some people make cards, scrap book or do a more planned activity.
I crochet, well try.....
Vicki helps and assits us with advice, materials and stories.
We have class in a little tin shed office in the Berry showground
where Vicki and her husband are the caretakers.
Vickis little dog Goldie joins us and shes a rescue pup with a big heart and smile.

Everyones welcome and you never know who you might meet?
Vicki also sells supplies and all the things she makes pop in and  have a look....
hugs and crochet hooks xx
