THE TOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN!

We went and saw Toy Story 3
LOVED IT!
It was so cute the cinema was sold out and 90% of the audience were adults
It was so funny everyone was acting to cool for school but once in the movie they all turned into big kids.
We laughed we cried and at the end of the movie it got a standing ovation.
Disney and Pixar they just get it the movie is beautiful go and see it!
Do you have a favourite toy that you never could let go of?

MELBURTON.

Today we went on a random shop over Melbourne
We visited some of our fav stores, revisted the exhibit had lunch at the Acmi.
Late last night we found a wicked Japanese arcade parlour.
It was full of different photobooths from japan and  play and grab machines.
We made fun photos and won loads of Japanese toys.
Our Prizes whoop whoop!
We really had a blast at the Timmy B exhibition.
I picked up some of Timmys art books and some tragic toys.
Have any of you every read The Melancholy Death Of Oyster Boy & Other Stories?
Its one of my fav books it has all these super cute characters that sadly have tragic endings,
I read it like twice again on the plane.
The best book I've every read on Tim Burton is Burton on BURTON.
by Mark Salisbury.
This book in a way is like the secret without trying to be,go out chase your dreams,
tell it how it is,be yourself, believe in yourself, embrace your individuality.
Green leopard print, ice cream beanies, coconut ice soap, rain, tragic toys,
japanese photobooths and batmobiles a typical day in Melbourne.....
love & oyster shells

THE ART OF TIM BURTON.

Today one of my dreams came true......
We went to see the works of my creative hero Tim Burton.
We were also were lucky enough to attend a master class with the man himself,
what a sweetheart such a funny talented gracious man.
Check out some of the pics here,if you get a chance to see this exhibit go its a once in a lifetime opportunity.

MAGIC MELBOURNE......

We have arrived at melbourne and we are getting excited to hit the Tim Burton Exhibition.
We just discovered the coolest old skool magic store its so ironic that it
happens to look and feel like the magic store from
PEEWEES BIG ADVENTURE.
Tim Burtons first feature film full length directing debut.
The store was super retro just loved it,there were sign pics all over the wall
of famous magicians and a vintage Houdini posters.
Xray paper glasses, tins that you open and pop out crazy crepe paper worms,
magic kits and wands.
I brought the cutest little furry bunny that hops along on its own, random I know
Super Kawaii!
